School Boy Vest - Pattern by Sew Much Ado

Hi Y'all!!!
(Hmm, the South is wearing off on me, that totally just popped out)

I am SOOOO excited about this post today!

First of all because, well, the pattern I'm talking about today. Is seriously. PHENOMENAL. I mean seriously.

Abby from Sew Much Ado has totally outdone herself this time. The instructions to this pattern could not be more clearly explained or photographed and the pattern pieces themselves fit together perfectly.

Today is the release day for this pattern, and be sure to RUN here and grab a copy for yourself. It is JUST in time for Easter. What little man wouldn't look extra handsome in a vest like this for Easter Sunday?

Not to mention the finished product is something to be proud of!

I just love the professional way it turned out.

I used a delicious (can fabric be described the same way as food? Sure.) suiting fabric for the outer and a quilting cotton for the lining.

I looooove the welt pockets! Just follow the instructions one-by-one and voila! You have an amazing, functional, professional looking pocket. And what little boy doesn't need a pocket to hide treasures in?

I love the added touch of the back ties. Makes it feel so legit!

I was so, so thrilled to be able to test this pattern. And with Abby's attention to detail it didn't feel like testing at all. It was so fun to sew up!

Another reason I'm so excited about this post is because of how well our photo shoot went :)

I let him take control and wow, he blew my socks off.
