Skipper Top Pattern Test
I had the great privilege of testing this adorable little pattern for Abby from Sew Much Ado that was released TODAY!!
It is called the Skipper Top and is the little girl version of the Seafarer Top, which I now MUST get my hands on and do a little selfish sewing!! And I think I have enough of this floral knit leftover to make a whole top for me, or at least some pattern blocking with the floral in it. You know, to have some more Mommy & Me options :)
I sewed up the topstitched neckline, sleeve and hemline version.
Talk about a quick sew! This top comes together in a snap. And that's saying alot because I sew at glacial speed. Sounds impressive. Think about it. Yeah, not fast. Nevermind me. I'm tired...
One of my absolute favorite features of this little top is the pocket options. There is a heart option and this little pentagonal pocket. I LOVE being able to do a little pattern mixing here!
Floral and stripes is one of my current faves. Isn't it just so sweet!?!?!
I also love the subtle little curve going on in the hemline. Helps keep the diaper peep show to a minimum :)
She and I are both so pleased with this new pattern!
And the pattern ranges in size from 6mo to 10yr! So this little staple will be in O's closet for YEARS to come. Yippee!!
RUN over to Sew Much Ado and grab a copy for yourself!
